5 Collector Items at Target for the Star Wars Fan

Are you a Star Wars fan? I grew up loving the franchise! As a collector, there's no better time to find things to increase your collection! Ever since Disney took over Star Wars, there's been no shortage of collections. With more series being released (like The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and Obi-Wan Kenobi); there's something for the Stars Wars fan from any generation. I went to Target to see what Star Wars items were available to add to my collection! Here are five categories you can find at your local store. They are perfect for gifts or for your own collection!
#1 - Star Wars Lego Sets Remember the days when Lego seemed to be for kids? Those days are long gone, and the Star Wars sets are some of the perfect examples! They have so much detail, and the minifigures are awesome. So many characters available in these sets, you're bound to find your favourites. The Star Wars Legos do have some HUGE collector series, and can be quite expensive; but there's a wide range so something for any budget. There's a few I hope to get my hands on oneday! (like the full size R2-D2)
#2 - Star Wars Galactic Pals Plushies
I think these are just the cutest things ever! The photo didn't have them in their correct place, and they are actually $29.99 each. The current 4 characters are Wookiee, Rodian, Jawa, and Ewok! I hope they make more, they are adorable and make for unique plushes for the collection! Plushes in general area great addition, and there's always something available! Especially if you're a Grogu fan; I've seen so many Grogu plushes of all sizes!
#3 - Funko Pops!
With the Funko Pop! craze, can you make any list of collectibles without including Funkos? I never know specifically which Star Wars Funkos will be available at Target, but there is nearly always some character around. They also have some with t-shirt bundles! They make for a great lower cost collectible figure!
#4 - Star Wars Books
Did you know there were official Star Wars books? They may seem a bit overwhelming, because there are a lot that are released; so knowing where to start may not always be the clearest! The authors are fantastic though, so expect a good read no matter which you pick! If you struggle finding these, I have seen them in multiple areas within the Target book aisles.
#5 - Pins
Pin collecting is gaining momentum, and now they can also be found at Target! These Funko pins are large, and make for a great display piece. They are also now currently on clearance for $4.49 each, which means a new series may come out soon! Aside from the Funko pins, they sell packs with standard size enamel pins as well that aren't Funko. All you need is an awesome Star Wars shaped corkboard to display them!
It was so much fun hunting down Star Wars items at Target!! It's so easy to find things to build a growing collection, start collecting, or as gifts for the Star Wars fan in your life!
