5 Things You'll Love About Lego Harry Potter 12 Grimmauld Place

Recently, Lego has released some new Harry Potter sets; and they are absolutely amazing! The first one I picked out to complete was 12 Grimmauld Place. It caught my eye immediately, and I just had to build it! There's so many amazing things about this build, and it's one I highly recommend. Here are 5 things you'll love about Lego's 12 Grimmauld Place; and pictures taking you through the entire build!
#1 - It Opens and Closes
I think it's awesome that this set opens and closes just like 12 Grimmauld Place! This set would have still been awesome if it was just an open view of 12 Grimmauld Place, but the moveable component is a fantastic extra touch. I made the mistake of doing this build in bed and 100% don't recommend it. The moving pieces easily fell out of place when putting the top of the building into place!
#2 - The Details in All the Rooms!
There are so many rooms in this set, and each have their own details! They are small, so it's not a ton of things, but there's little bits to notice in each one. Beds have comforters with Quidditch teams, there's a piano. The kitchen is set up with drinks. There's even Sirius Black's family-tree tapestry! Part of what made this set so fun to build was each room being different and having it's own special touches!
#3 - Fred and George have an Extendable Ear!
If you've seen the Harry Potter movies, you likely know exactly what an Extendable Ear is! One of their most well known pieces, and a collectible that's great to add to any Harry Potter collection! I thought this piece was a very fun add-on to the set, it hooks onto their wand and can reach from the roof to the bottom level of 12 Grimmauld Place! A small piece, but funny and cute!
#4 - Nymphadora Tonks Comes with a Hair and Pig Face Change!
Nymphadora Tonks is one of my all-time favourite characters (probably a bit moreso in the books than movies)! I was so excited last time I got her in a set, but they didn't give her the versatility she is so well known for! This time, they did.. and it's a great addition to the set! You can choose between a purple or a red wig, and one side of her head is a standard face, while the other is a pig! This set gets an extra point for adding this to the Nymphadora minifigure!
#5 - All the Minifigures
The minifigures in this set are fantastic! And there's a good quality of them. I had to include close-ups of all the figures (with both their facial expressions!) A couple of these characters I didn't yet have any version of!
