Today's post is sure a yummy one! Find a handful of Sanrio Hello Kitty treats and try them all? Yes, please! Not a bad day at all! To prepare for this blog, I frequented some of my local shops that I thought just might carry some Hello Kitty themed treats! After all, treats are just a little better when pop culture themed!

My list includes 5 awesome treats and where you can find them! These are in no particular order, but I will tell my all-time favourite! Do you have a guess which it could be?

#1 - Hello Kitty Biscuits with Chocolate Cream

First of all, these containers are just the cutest things! Makes for an adorable snack. The biscuits are good, sturdy enough to get chocolate, but not dry. The chocolate is yummy, but there could definitely be more of it! Use sparingly, or have some coffee or hot chocolate to drink while finishing these!

CALORIES: 170 per container (not too bad for a chocolate treat!)

WHERE TO BUY: Picked these up at Box Lunch Gifts!

(If you frequently shop there, they make a fantastic add-on when using Lunch Money and trying to hit the $30 point!)

#2 - Hello Kitty Chocolate Marshmallow with Chocolate Cream Inside

These marshmallows have just a little bead of chocolate cream inside, but it goes a surprisingly long way! The chocolate isn't overpowering, and overall was a nice treat. It's a mild flavor, but if you enjoy marshmallows, I'd definitely recommend. The marshmallow/chocolate balance is excellent! Another plus is that they are individually wrapped! You can open the bag and just take a couple with you, without worrying about the rest of them getting hard!

CALORIES: 140 per container (having just a couple is a perfect small cheat on diet days!)

WHERE TO BUY: Picked these up at my local Asian market!

(I highly recommend looking up Asian markets in your area, they have great stuff and it's a fraction of the cost from other shops)

#3 - Hello Kitty Wafer Cookies (Chocolate Flavor)

If you guessed that these were my favourite, then you were right! These are soooo yummy and I can't wait to get another box! They are light and full of flavor. I'd love these with a coffee, but wouldn't recommend dipping! They would definitely break apart. These aren't an overly sweet treat, but have enough chocolate to only need a couple at a time (although I could probably eat the entire box!)

CALORIES: 230 per container (one of the higher calories on this list, but not too bad if you only have a couple!)

WHERE TO BUY: Picked these up at Rocket Fizz!

(Although I've seen more locations popping up, this store isn't everywhere. If you don't live near one, keep an eye out if you visit small touristy towns!)

#4 - Hello Kitty Marshmallow (Matcha Green Tea & Tropical Pineapple)

More marshmallows! I never knew before this hunt that Hello Kitty and marshmallows went together so well! These two are similar to the chocolate, but they are jelly filled! They are also not individually wrapped, so will get hard if just left open.

First let's talk about the Matcha Green Tea Marshmallow. The Green Tea is good, although very mild. If you like the flavor and don't want a huge punch, these are perfect! Even with a mild flavor, I'd say the marshmallow taste is overpowered by the Green Tea.

Now, the Tropical Pineapple. These are a very close 2nd favourite of mine on this list! I would have never thought to try a pineapple jelly filled marshmallow, but it's delicious! The pineapple is a lot stronger than the Green Tea jelly, and the marshmallow doesn't stand out as a flavor on it's own, but I could easily eat the entire bag. It's a perfect combo!

CALORIES: Matcha Green Tea: 110 per 9 pieces Tropical Pineapple: 103 per 9 pieces Both have approximately 3 servings per container (Out of all of the treats, these risk my diet the most with the calories and how good they are!)

WHERE TO BUY: Picked these up at my local Asian market!

(I've also seen these at Rocket Fizz, but they are a lot less expensive at the Asian market)

#5 - Kawaii Cookies (Plain & Strawberry)

These little cookies absolutely shocked me! A small secret, I put these off til the end to try because they just didn't look that exciting to me. I thought they'd be bland or boring, but I was wrong! These little cookies are delicious! They are a bit dry, and would be excellent with a coffee or hot chocolate, but they also hooked me. I could eat them by the handful!

The Keroppi bag is just plain cookies, slight vanilla taste to them. One little cookie is a big pop of flavor though, they really are yummy! The Hello Kitty bag is strawberry. I think the strawberry is very mild. Eating them quickly, it's hard to even tell the difference between the two. Still good, but don't expect a huge pop of strawberry.

CALORIES: Keroppi Kawaii Cookies: 120 per 54 pieces Hello Kitty Kawaii Cookies (Strawberry): 110 per 54 pieces Both have approximately 2 servings per container (I personally love that you can have so many for a 100 calorie snack!)

WHERE TO BUY: Picked these up at Rocket Fizz!

(A lot of the Hello Kitty treats from Rocket Fizz can also be found at Asian markets. I haven't seen these at our Asian market yet, but wouldn't be surprised if some carry them!)

And that's all my treats! If you get the chance to try any of these, I'd recommend them all! Although I had my favourites, I wouldn't pass on any of them. Not only are they cute, they really are a yummy treat or small snack!
